If you have a head for heights and a need for a thrill, free climbing will get you the adrenaline fix you are looking for. You can climb virtually anywhere in the Stubai valley: from dams to climbing parks and from adventure parks to stone pits and rock faces, the choice is practically endless.

Mountain biking in the Stubai valley

The Stubai valley is a land of plenty for mountain bikers, with a network of trails and cycling paths in all degrees of difficulty stretching over 720 kilometres and 13,000 metres of altitude. There is nothing for it but to saddle up and start pedalling into the green of the Stubai valley!

Adventure calls

The Stubai valley also offers daredevils plenty of opportunities to quench their thirst for adventure. Have a climb at Tyrol’s largest high ropes course in Fulpmes or enjoy a full-throttle downhill run on the 2.8 km long Serles Alpine roller coaster in Mieders. Make the dream of flying come true with a tandem paraglide flight or a taster course at one of the paragliding schools near our hotel. And once your feet are back on the ground, why not add a pinch of variety choosing from the many other activities available? Horse riding, tennis, swimming, golf… Holiday time is precious, so why not make the most of it!


Speaking of golf, three courses lie within short distance to Hotel Cappella: the Lans and the Rinn are both located in Igls (15 and 18 km away respectively) and the Seefeld is 40 km from Neustift. A summer holiday in the Stubai valley is also a great opportunity to improve on your backhand, which you can do on the tennis courts in Fulpmes, Neustift-Scheibe, Telfes and Schönberg. And if you get hot you can always take a refreshing dip into the Kampler lake, a one-kilometre stroll away from our hotel.
